Our deer processing is designed to be simple and familiar to the local hunting community. Simply drop off your harvest at our facility, complete a processing form, and leave the rest to us. We enjoy getting to know our customers and welcome you to share your favorite hunting stories while enjoying a cup of coffee.

Every livestock animal is handled according to the individual needs of the farmer and customer. We offer both on-farm pickup and drop-off at our facility for your convenience. Each animal is treated with the care, dignity, and the respect it deserves. We take great pride in adhering to strict humane slaughter practices that minimize stress and help ensure the highest quality meat possible. From start to finish, your animal is processed with exceptional attention to quality, sanitation, and premium packaging standards.

We believe every customer deserves to receive meat from their own animal. Each animal is processed and packaged individually to maintain complete product integrity and traceability. Every cut is meticulously trimmed and prepared to your specifications, and we take the extra time necessary to maximize yield and ensure you receive the greatest value from your animal. All products are commercially packaged using premium vacuum-seal packaging to preserve freshness, quality, and long-term storage.

About Us

M&W Family Butchers was founded in November 2025 by Erika and Roland Morris with the goal of providing reliable, high-quality wild game processing to hunters throughout the Delmarva region.

What began as a small family venture, supported by our dear friend Brandon Walbert and our children—Aubrey, Roland, Weston, Ava, and Colton—has quickly grown into something much bigger. As a family, we believe it is important to teach our children where their food comes from and to instill an appreciation for the hard work, responsibility, and traditions that come with agriculture and food production.

Following the 2025 deer season, we recognized a significant need for local whole-animal butchery services. In response, we expanded our operation to offer whole-animal processing as a custom exempt butcher shop, becoming one of the closest facilities of its kind within more than 40 miles.

Our goal is to provide farmers, homesteaders, hunters, and families throughout Delmarva with convenient access to locally processed, high-quality meats while preserving the values of craftsmanship, integrity, and community that our business was built upon.
